Voter Information

For Voters

The 2022 Municipal Election is on Monday October 24, 2022. 

The Voting Period is from October 11, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. to October 24, 2022 at 8:00 p.m.

Ensure you are on the Voters' Lists to avoid delays when the Voting Period opens. If you missed the opportunity to check the voters list on VoterLookup.ca, you can still add to the list or change your information on the list by completing the Form EL15 Application to Amend Voters List.

You will vote in this election either online or by phone. 

In early October, eligible voters will receive a Voter Information Letter in the mail which will include:

• instructions on how to vote online or by phone
• unique PIN allowing each voter to vote once
• location and phone number of the Voter Help Centre

In the 2022 elections, you will be voting for the following:

• One Mayor for the City of Kenora
• Six Councillors at large, for the City of Kenora
